Hello.

My name is Reza Salie and I'm born and raised in Cape Town. My journey has been colourful and mainly focused around my home city which is known to be one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Our diverse cultures, nature and rich history makes for an interesting visit if you ever decided to come visit.

I consider myself to be culturally muslim, I don't practice as such but I'm spiritual in my own way. I'm open to all religions, sexual orientations and support having open dialogue on all things.

I enjoy wine tasting and always looking to add to my wine collection at home.

I'm currently on a sabbatical from work and looking to do some travelling to meet like minded adventurers.

I enjoy cooking, hiking, meeting new people, being inspired and watching documentary films.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I have some time because I'm not working a full time job, I thought now is better than ever to travel and see the world.

I've hosted a few people this year on couch surfing by chance in my house and had such a great time meeting and hearing about all of their adventures that it inspired me to start my own journey of discovery.

I believe that the more we share ides and life experiences, respecting each others beliefs and opinions, we can build a better world for all.

I love all kinds of music. I love good hip hop - Kendrick Lamar and other like minded artists. Also Bonobo, Kaytranada and Selection Radio type music.

I can teach you how to cook some of the dishes I like and enjoy learning new recipes, so lets share the kitchen and meals together.
