I am a pro-choice, don’t think there is any one recipe for living and happiness. So, even though I am a straight cis man, I respect and admire LGBTQ+ community for the courage to decide for themselves what they like and following it.
I have met many of them and some have become my good friends. Consequently, if you are from LGBTQ+ community, live by what you find right not what is been dictated to us by our former generations, or what society dictates, we already have something important in common.

Further more, I am a nature lover, a vivid reader, a video gamer (used to be) and movie addict. Since I moved to Canada I started cycling and will soon start some winter activities. I also enjoy chatting and learning about differed cultures and worldviews.

Philosophy:
There are few things in the world that as many as you have, you don't have enough. Good friends are one of them. I am looking to make as many good friends as I can in my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I found CS community one of the most open minded, understanding and kind in the world. The ones I met accepted me without judging me or trying to convince me their point of view is the superior one!

Here I made many friends who are the ones so kind as to accept me as their friend, sharing their most valuable belonging, their TIME, with me. The only thing no amount of money can bring is TIME that is passed. I look to make more good friends who can bring more meaning to my life.

Interests

Things that interest me are included to learning about different cultures, sharing historical knowledge, providing others with real stories about my culture.
I am also interested in mountaineering and traveling around the world.
Besides these things, I like to read and learn as much as possible and I think there is no limit for learning.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can not choose one book as my favorite since there are many books that affected my life. So I am going to name a few writer that I like more.
Daniel kahneman, Irvin Yalom, Robert Greene, and Richard Thaler.
As for movies, there are too many of them. In fact, I had watched most of 250 movies listed in IMDB.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I stayed in a man's house in Gheshm - an island in the Persian Gulf- he was in deep financial difficulty - he was in debt about a million dollars!-, however, he showed me the best hospitality he could offer and he did not even show a slight sign of depression!

Had I was in his shoes, I would felt the world has ended for me!

Teach, Learn, Share

I know quite a good amount of history, mountaineering, backcountry camping , and cooking which I am more than willing to share.

As for learning, there is no end in my curiosity. I like to learn new topics and especially interesting in people’s personal experiences. I think learning from people’s experiences is only second to experiencing them yourself. So please share your valuable insights with me.
