Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been both on the hosting and hosted end of couch surfing. Generally I find it really fun to connect with new people and make new friends.

Interests

Laughing, skiing and snowboarding, hiking, reading, crossword puzzles, cookies, eating sandwiches on tops of mountains, floating down rivers, and being awesome.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies I quote the most often: The Princess Bride, The Big Lebowski, Stranger than Fiction, Pulp Fiction, The Mighty Ducks

I enjoy any music that makes me get down and boogie or think in new ways.

Last great book read: The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, Outlander:)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well this year I have spend about 9 weeks in western Greenland studying plants. I have also lived in an Alaska bush camp for 2 months, floated the grand canyon in February 2010, studied abroad in Italy when I was 16, and surveyed almost all the high alpine lakes in Colorado.

Teach, Learn, Share

For me, a good conversation goes a long way. Whether that is discussing global politics, exchanging jokes, or whipping up a tasty meal, I love sharing ideas, skills, and points of view. I look forward to meeting new people and participating in a symbiotic relationship to better both our lives.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Both good and bad jokes, a tasty meal, and perhaps a song or two.

Countries I’ve Visited
