Resumen
Sobre mí
There are few times better than now to scramble into the wide open spaces. Getting out and meeting some of the strangest people this world's got to offer is better than sticking around the confines of one place too long getting used to a grind.
More fun that way anyway.
I've found the best way to experience the culture of a place is by learning it from the people who actually live it, not some god-awful hotel chain or neon tourist trap. Kind of like a day at the beach, I guess--it's probably a little safer, maybe even more scenic, sitting at the waters edge, but it's a whole lot more fun once you've jumped in and started splashing around.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
As far as I can tell, the best keep a person limber is through stories. Big ones and small ones. In my mind, traveling is one of those things that keeps you on our toes and keeps your ears open. When you're in some new place surrounded by new people, you always catch another angle if you're the type of person inclined to see it. When you can see where someone's coming from, it's a lot easier to find common ground for any number of things.
Everybody's got a story. And I want to hear them all. Often they come in the places you'd least expect and from the people you'd least expect, and thank whatever fates or god is responsible for that. But with the right mind, there are a lot of adventures out there that are just waiting to had--weird though they may be--and I for one don't plan on sitting around waiting for them to come to me. Time to stretch these legs out and get 'em running.
