My name is Markus. I want gain experience in Tour Guide Business in Myanmar and starting with Free Tours through Yangon, the city of my choice.

I’m an expatriate here in Yangon for almost 2 years now. My fiancé is Burmese. I previously had a couple of jobs here in Yangon, I worked for the Culture Department of Goethe Institute Myanmar and a Solar energy Start-up company.

At the moment I am doing university research on the Myanmar market and learning Burmese language. I’m finding it a good idea to get of my „Home Office“ some time getting into the crowd on the streets, park, sights, bars and local teashops.

I’m offering you a Free & individual Tour through Yangon, this beautiful beloved city of mine. My mission is to show you local places, which aren’t highlighted in regular travel guide. I’m doing a small survey for every weeks tour, so I know what is the preference and where to head first with a small group. Friend atmosphere and fun is on the program!

Sule Pagoda
Most Hotels / Hostels / Guesthouses are located in Downtown. I recommend you to take a walk or Taxi to Sule Pagoda. Every taxi driver in Town knows „Sule“ and is willing to drive for less than 3000MMK = 2USD ;)
