About Me

Unable to host as currently my parents are living with me.
CURRENT MISSION
Learn and share

ABOUT ME
I like seeing other cultures from the inside. Living among the natives is the best way to see their world thru their eyes. However, to get close to them isn't always easy. That's why I'm CouchSurfing.

As I already have two-culture experience of having been brought up and lived in Ukraine and now living in Australia for 20 years, I believe there is a lot of insight I can share with you about these countries and their cultures.

I love wild nature that Australia is renown for. To see it, I often travel to national parks for camping and bushwalking. I try to visit other countries as often as I can, and try to help others who are visiting my country.

One of my hobbies is photography. You can see some photos here:

PHILOSOPHY
whatever happens, happens for the better

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
As my parents have moved in with me, currently, I'm not hosting, but will be hosting again in end of 2019 or 2020.
Host travellers, share my insights and experience with them, learn from them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted quite a few high school exchange students, recent graduates and regular CS'er as well. So far, I've only surfed in two countries. Along the way, I've enjoyed the whole experience.

Interests

If you can make me a company to a concert, an exhibition, or go cycling, hiking when I host you, or let me do the same when I'm hosted that would enrich our experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to Ethiopia for work and lived sort-of with the natives.
