ABOUT ME
Hello,
my name is Hannes, I'm 22 years old and I'm currently living in Montpellier France. I'm an Erasmusstudent and I live together with 3 adorable flatmates in a nice appartment. I spend most of my time perfecting my french, enjoying the southern sun and having a good time with my friends. I love music (jam sessions in our living room are not rare;-), good food, biking, going to the beach that is not fare away and meeting new people...
PHILOSOPHY
The strength of our conviction is no proof for its correctness.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For instance I just signed up at CS.org. However I surfed couches and I hosted people. My roommate is a member too and due to that we hosted several CSers in our appartment. I see this community as an expression of a new spirit of exchange and social activity replacing the cold and unpersonal means which are offerd by our current society (Hotel, Hostel, etc). It replaces financial interests by the simple principal of giving, taking and sharing.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first CSexperience I made in Montpellier and it was just great. Our host did so much for us, offered us his time, his companionship, food and help in any way. Later my roommates and me hosted people of different countries in our appartment and both we and they enjoyed their stay.
Interests
I am interested in music, politics, reading. Besides I love spending time with my friends (which is not very surprising), my girlfriend (which is most not surprising) and in the nature, at the beach or at least in the sun. I play theater at the university
