I would describe myself as an open-minded, easy-going person, who likes to learn about new cultures and get to know the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Unfortunately I can't host anybody at the moment but as soon as I move (which hopefully will be soon) I'll have plenty of space to host people.
For now, I am more than happy to show people around the Ruhrgebiet, Düsseldorf, Cologne etc., meet up for a coffee or help out wherever I can.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't surfed any couches or hosted anybody yet but hopefully that will change soon. I attended a CS meeting and besides that met some fellow CS and always had a great time with them.

Music, Movies, and Books
Moviewise I love comedies and hate horror movies (they keep me awake at night ;-) )
Music: Kaiser Chiefs, The Kooks, Taking back Sunday, The Fray, Salsa music, etc.
Books: too many to mention e.g. Lord of the Rings, The Catcher in the Rye, Das Parfüm etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The world is full of amazing things that's why I like travelling so much. One amazing thing for me was sleeping out in the open at a campfire on a small hill close to Uluru in Australia. The sky with its millions of stars and countless shooting stars far away from any town with its artificial light was absolutely stunning.
