Let's just say that the world is my oyster, but that is only because I'm actually a sea otter, breaking it open against my chest, extracting sustenance and pearls and wearing scars as a sign of beauty.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm on the road a lot, often relying on the kindness of strangers to get me where I'm going and help me find shelter when I need it. I try to repay this with stories and listening ears, alternately, and little creatures made from wire when I have it.
When I find myself home, home again, my house is always open to the weary traveler. I take hospitality very seriously- people have definitely looked out for me on my travels and it is an honor to be able to do the same, I'm happy to give people a place to sleep and a hot meal.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Lovely lovely lovely. I keep waiting to run into all the psycho killers, but they keep letting me down! At this rate, my jaded misanthropy is going to melt away. . .

兴趣

Climbing things. Swimming in natural bodies of water. Creating things. I love to write and paint and cook and sew.
I'm an extrovert in the psychology term sense: I get my energy and focus from being around other people. I do well with a very full plate.

Brought the most beautiful creature into the world in my own home, surrounded by the people I love most.

My head and hands contain a wealth of random, often unrelated skills and knowledge. I am most definitely a jack of all trades, master of very few. I can teach you a little bit about any number of things from how to sew leather to obscure animal facts to swing dancing.
I am always interested in learning new things, especially if they involve stringed instruments and/or making/fixing things.
