About Me
Hello! I'm a teacher and an interpreter. Some things that bring me much joy: language, linguistics, Latin America, dogs, cooking, painting, tacos al pastor. I live in a sweet, cozy, (slightly funky), house with my best friend, my sister and my pup in a vibrant neighborhood in Portland.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am seeking international (and domestic!) connections! I recently moved to Portland and now that I'm a bit more settled, I can't travel as much, so I'm looking to compensate by hosting some travelers myself.
I am new to couchsurfing but would like to give it a try.
Also, I prefer to have guests Weds-Sun. The beginnings of the week are pretty stressful for me and I can't dedicate as much time to social fun.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Something amazing? Well, maybe not amazing, but here's something scary and impactful: I moved to Andalucía when I was 17 to live and study on my own. I learned more in that year than I have in any other phase of my life, having been thrown from my little town where I knew everyone and everything to being a stranger in every sense of the word. I'm glad I did it.
