About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Renovating...

ABOUT ME

Depends who's asking... my previous motto was; "four years to make a million" - we can decide on the currency later, which has not yet realized, time tic's on - 1 year left. ;-) I know what I want, but sometimes wait too long - as I believe in the saying; "good things come to those who wait".
But before you think I'm all about money - that's the way I see business, not friendships. Money can't buy the latter and therefore it's priceless. I enjoy a good solid friendship based on mutual respect in a relaxed fashion... :-) You wanna know more - meet me!

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard about it, and joined... that was step one. Step two, I went to the Cape Town CS Group's regular Friday get-together at Rafiki's, hosted, surfed and well go to the occasional CS meeting here and there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A little... we've hosted a number of people so far, became good friends with many surfers, yet have not surfed much myself. I stayed with some x-surfers during my recent EU trip, and enjoyed the experience very much - t'is a great way to get straight into local culture and experience a country and it's people the way they really are - thus not the "touristy-commercial" way. And that is what we want to give you! ;-)

Interests

Cars... BMW's and classic's. Ok, I know there's more to life than cars, but I just state it here for the record. Traveling, reading, good wine, cooking, the occasional cigar, cycling, mountaineering. This list will just grow!
