About Me

CURRENT MISSION

building a cob house and having a lot of fun!

ABOUT ME

I am curious about everything! I want to learn as much as I can and live harmoniously, relaxed as a flower, joyful and healthy. I particularly am interested in plants, ecology, mushrooms, permaculture,(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Permaculture) art (all forms), reading, music, consciousness, physics, psycopharmacology, cell chemistry, clothing, spirituality and pretty much anything else. What is up in my life right now:=going to school through Gaia University (check it out!!!!) http://www.gaiauniversity.org/=building my own house, out of natural, locally available, recycled, dumpstered etc materials, mainly stone, cob, cedar logs, straw, metal roof etc. This is part of the plan to set up a whole permaculture homestead on our property, become self-sufficient and participate in community.=want to get financially independent, as in run my own business doing something good like growing medicinal and gourmet mushrooms, herbs, vegetables perhaps, or doing custom sewing work as I am a skilled seamstress!=struggling to find work in Saint John, the crazy dirty industrial beer drinking smoking hockey loving town that it is=want to learn more about urban gardening=enjoying many creative pursuits, painting, sewing, knitting, singing, music, etc

PHILOSOPHY

why do I live my life? I have only one other choice, to die. I will die anyway. I will LIVE in the meantime! Love, travel, adventure and friends! No dead-end jobs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed in Europe and the USA through this website and informally everywhere I go! I love the way people open their homes and their lives to strangers. It feels great to be able to host people as I know how it is to be travelling! The feeling of community, of mutual support, the fact that it is totally free is just awesome and proves that humanity is basically good at our heart.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Did it a lot in France and Europe etc, now getting the hang of it. Also down the coast of California met some truely great folks and then in summer we managed to host a bit for once.

love, truth, beauty, people, natural building, photography, ecology, traveling, music, plants, consciousness, dreaming, mountains, spirituality, humility, How to change the world without violence... seeing what I really need.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am building my own house from scratch by hand from recycled/found/dumpstered/natural materials!

I biked from Victoria, BC to San Francisco, CA!!! I mean Bicycled! Climbed mountain that had like a 1400 metre elevation gain, whooo, great view. Seen people, they are amazing.
Standing on the Green line in Jerusalem hearing the call to prayer from all the mosques across the valley in East Jerusalem, the sun was hot, I was with my love. Perfect moment.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach me: humility, photo printing, dance, singing, making gnocci, idiomatic expressions in other languages, esp. French.

Learn: sewing, making super hot chocolate, vegetarianism, fire making, earthism.
