About Me
What excites me most are the things I don't know.
I am eager to find myself lost and amazed by those experiences I wasn't ready for, the emotions that overwhelmed me and the conversations that rocked my perception of the world.
Constantly I am amazed by the beauty in life. Especially the beauty that brakes down all the common constructs of the word. The beauty that is felt rather than seen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2009 I took the Inca Trail hike in Peru. This was my first time out of Australia, I was alone and I had never experienced the world away from what I knew. It was my first week abroad and we were on our 3rd day of the hike. At one of the highest points of the hike our guide turned to the group, told us all to look out over the snow capped mountainous terrain and to not make a sound. We stood for maybe 3 minutes like this, what felt like a lifetime. Words could not describe what I felt at this moment. At this altitude plant and insect life could not survive, we were situated above the clouds and their was the most surreal and majestic silence I have ever experienced. I could hear the others breath, but apart from this we were in a completely undisturbed and serene realm. I won't ever experience such an important moment in my life again, given those exact circumstances.
