I'm a multidisciplinary and collaborative artist with roots in Brooklyn and California who has dedicated my life and art to creating positive social change by helping people feel more connected to humanity, the planet, and the cosmos, but I'm just starting to get to explore more of the planet myself! I work with an amazing immersive theatre show called Bella Gaia ("Beautiful Earth") created in collaboration with NASA to inspire stewardship. As an artist, I create site-specific immersive performances and installations using sound, movement, light, words and scents to tell stories. My stories, songs, and installations are designed to celebrate the unique acoustics of very special spaces while also illuminating the cultural and historical significance of particular locations in time and space.

I started being called "Catalyst" for my dedication to creating change, the preservation and sustainability of cultural diversity, nightlife, and the spirit of collaboration between artists, technologists, and scientists (I really believe in people working together across disciplines and generations. and bringing together individuals who share common creative and humanitarian goals). I believe we are all catalysts, all changemakers, and can all learn from each other. That’s why I love the Couchsurfing concept so much (though I'm new here, I promise I'm a really respectful guest and have been a host on other platforms for years).

Professionally I also curate largescale multimedia art and music venues and events (in New York City and globally livestreaming virtual events with nonprofit organizations like Purpose Earth). My work started with an amazing underground club called the Lunatarium and led me to work with museums, NASA research centers, and science centers. Everything I do is designed to inspire and bring people together. I love connecting with people. And nature, and water, and toast- I really love toast.

Ooo, hard to narrow down, I LOVE music, movies, and books. I love so many genres of music and I LOVE learning about music I don't know about from around the world. A few favorite genres are lush downtempo and ambient experimental music, Mississippi delta blues (Robert Johnson), old school conscious hip hop, IDM, flamenco, house, techno, classic rock, trip-hop, afrobeat (Fela and Antibalas!, and acid jazz. Radiohead, Bjork, Billie Holiday, and Boards of Canada are a few of my all time faves and influences.
Some of my fave books are.. Neverwhere, The Orbital Perspective, The Quadrivium, A Wrinkle in Time, On the Road, To Kill a Mockingbird, A Hero with A Thousand Faces, Alice in Wonderland, The Women Warrior, Parades Parties and Protests, The Nature Fix, Nightingales in Berlin.. and some of my favorite movies are Spirited Away, La cité des enfants perdus, The Labyrinth, Wild Style, The Royal Tennenbaums, and Hidden Figures
