About Me

I'm very excitable and enthusiastic, I love learning new things meeting new people and going on adventures. I left school about three years ago and have been gradually saving money to go traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This website was recommended to me by a friend, she said some of the best places she stayed while she was travelling were with people shed met on couchsurfing. It just sounds like a great way to meet some amazing, generous people who have local knowledge to share with travellers from all over the world. I can't wait to meet these wonderful people!!!

Interests

I love listening to all types of music, I enjoy cycling and walking, reading. I love learning new things about different cultures and so societies. I'm very interested by psychology and sociology so I often casually read into various theories. Same with philosophy I don't study it in the conventional sense but they are topics I really enjoy learning and talking about.

Music, Movies, and Books

I find it hard to pick favourites because I'm very indecisive and there are so many pieces of music and films and books that I really love. The music that I love to listen too changes so frequently the more I think about that the harder it is to answer...
I love all the Monty python films, I like Wes Anderson, Quinton Tarantino, Amelie is a lovely film.
My favourite book is my Oxford dictionary. It goes into detail about the origin of each word and how it's meaning might have changed over time or other words it could have changed from over time I find it very interesting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year I spent 3 months volunteering in Ethiopia. I worked with a health charity that promoted the use of condoms to prevent the spread of HIV, we also visited local schools to educate children about sexual health, and offered support and treatment for women and girls with FGM. I also spent some time working in a clinic that offered safe and legal abortions for those who needed it.

Teach, Learn, Share
