CURRENT MISSION

Running my own social enterprise helping young people set up co-operative businesses as an empowering and collaborative solution to youth unemployment and a way to build a more equal, democratic and sustainable economy.

ABOUT ME

There is nothing better than making a difference in the lives of others, in making this world a better place than when you first came into it, in whatever small way you can.

This is what I intend to dedicate my life to, by studying, travelling, learning, working and interacting with others.

I am a passionate and confident person with a lot of energy who loves being spontaneous, having fun and enjoying life. I also have a lot of time and patience and enjoy peace and quiet, reflection and engaging meaningful debate about the nature of this world and our place in it.

PHILOSOPHY

- Don't be afraid of the space between your dreams and reality. If you can dream it you can make it so. Don't compromise yourself you are all you've got.

- For many years I have asked myself- what can I do for the Earth? I want to inspire others to ask that question and answer it whenever, wherever they can.

- We want to see a world based on equality and co-operation where people give according to their ability and receive according to their needs. Where work is fulfilling and beneficial to the world, where creativity is encouraged, where decision making is open to everybody with on hierachies and where the environment is valued and respected in its own right rather than exploited. 我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have only recently joined couch surfing.. but think that travelling the world is something that should be free and about finding different and interesting places, and really meeting the people of the country- seeing things from their perspective. Coach surfing is an amazing way to do this, and I hope to learn, share and experience many great things through staying at peoples places when I am travelling, but also keeping that alive by having people stay at mine as much as possible when not on the road.

Riding a motorbike through the Himalaya's has been the best experience of my life.

I would love to learn any new language, culture, history, instrument, perspective, cooking...... there is nothing I do not want to learn.

I am always happy to teach and share information, my skills are currently centered on international development- specifically climate adaptation, social movements and education.
