I'm a writer and journalist from Sydney, I also host a current affairs radio show and travel, snowboard, go and see bands and gallery openings when I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfing in Germany was great. We had a really cool host and it was a far better experience than a 16-bed dorm full of beirdy-weirdies who snore til the break of dawn and steal your shoes. I also couch-surfed in Amsterdam and Belgium with great hosts.

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A trip to the Balkans last year was pretty special. A 24 hour busride from Croatia to Kosovo where we spent a week meeting locals, hearing their stories, visiting the UN mission and eating great food. Then back through Serbia, Bosnia, Montenegro. Other highlights = South China jungle. Snowboarding Japan. Hong Kong Typhoon. A nightclub with no roof in Arizona. Riding a tandem bicycle in Belgium. Chasing sheep in Wales. Hitch-hiking through Germany in a snowstorm. Small things, that changed me.

If you are into food then I could challenge you to a cook-off! If you are into climbing or any kind of sport then maybe you can teach me. If you want to learn something from me well... I'm good at storytelling.
