About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Going on a listening tour of Malawi, South Africa, Swaziland, Lesotho, India and Nepal. Trying to unlearn all that keeps me from questioning dominant paradigms, acting with mercy, and bringing about change.

ABOUT ME

I was born at a very young age and am susceptible to Marxism, opposed to zoos, and forever seeking ways to be radically compassionate and inclusive. I take the world too seriously most of the time, and not seriously enough the rest of the time.

PHILOSOPHY

I derive my goals for intentionality from David Foster Wallace, for mercy from Albert Camus, for economics from David Harvey, for optimism from Paul Hawken, for activism from Martin Luther King Jr. and for inclusion from Paulo Freire.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I look for opportunities to be useful, whether it involve mopping the floor, community organizing, awareness raising or listening to another.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had only positive experiences CouchSurfing in Malawi, Swaziland and Lesotho. Don't hesitate to get in touch with me if you want to know more.

Interests

Issues of social justice (climate change, racism, sexism, white supremacy, patriarchy, neoliberalism, post-colonialism) occupy my mind most of the time. Otherwise, I like to be outdoors, meeting new people, playing frisbee and eating good food (all at the same time, if possible).
