ABOUT ME

Well...about me, eh? I have travelled to many place and enjoy meeting people and hopefully future travel buddies. I always keep my backpack (Phil, because I fill him full of junk ;-) )ready to jump out onto the road for the next adventure. I am a student, finish in Dec 2007 and will be promptly hitting the road after that. I love languages and they are very easy for me to pick up, so generally, if I visit another culture/country, I pick it up and try to be proficient...if not, I study it when I get home in the hopes of returning. Currently, I am studying French.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Uhm...swam in the Pacific, Altantic, English Channel, backpacked through Brazil and ended up living in Salvador because I loved it so much, was in the London bombings while backpacking through England, luckily survived with minor scrapes. Also, hitchhiked from my Iowa City, IA to Ottawa, Canada and back. Met some amazing people and got lifts with a professional hockey player and a maker of baseball bats for the major leagues.
