Overview
About Me
So after three years of whining about itchy feat and insatiable wanderlust I booked a flight to Mexico last may and have been winging my way around the world ever since! I have travelled to 11 countries during this time, climbed active volcanos in Guatemala and Nicaragua, completed yoga teacher training in India, trekked in Nepal, Vipassana in Sri Lanka, Bush doofed in Oz and crossed the Vietnam/China border on a motorbike. This last year has been incredible and I am so grateful for the all the adventures, friendships romances and life lessons that the universe has thrown at me along the way!
I'm moving to New Zealand in April to start the next chapter, when I finally have a base again I will be delighted to take in other couch surfers and keep the good karma turning :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couch surfing because for me travel is all about the incredible souls you meet! It's a system based on trust in the kindness of others and can be opportunity to forge friendships unlike any other.
Interests
Apart from travel, I love music of all kinds, it is a huge part of my day and most of my summers are spent either home or abroad at some form of festival.
Food comes a close second, certainly not picky when it comes to nosh and usually arrive to a country with an extensive list of food to try. I love to cook too and would be more than happy to whip up something if ya'll let me :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Like I said, music of all genres! My favourite artists range from Simon and Garfunkel to Die Antwoord, and everything in between :p. Favourite movie has to be Man on the Moon - the story of Andy Coffman portrayed so aptaptly by Jim Carey. As for books I love true stories and biographies. I am currently reading two of Frank Vilassas books at the same time, long bus journeys are great :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent a couple of weeks in an orphanage in Belarus looking after children affected by the Chernobyl disaster. This is probably one of the things I am most proud of and hope to do it again
Teach, Learn, Share
You can learn so much from people if you just listen to their stories. You never know what people have been through. It is so important to meet people with an open mind and heart.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would like to think I could share my sense sense of humour and good nature. I can't sing very well but I sure do try :p I can share my travel and life experiences! I think we've all got a bit of a philosopher in us too and there is nothing like really getting down to the bones of issues with someone you've only met :p
