My mission is to experience as much as I can while I'm on this earth. Different cultures? Different people? Different languages? Bring em on.

ABOUT ME

I'm an American student from North Carolina and just finished studying abroad at Trinity University in Carmarthen, Wales. I'm a generally happy and outgoing person and I love meeting new people. I've been almost everywhere in America, Quebec City in Canada, France, Spain, Italy, Monaco, and the UK. I'm trying to make it to all seven continents before I die, so here we go!

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is "It could always be worse, so live in the moment and enjoy it." So don't bother complaining about your current situation; enjoy what you're doing right now. Look on the bright side of things because no matter how bad your situation is, there's always something awesome happening.
I try to live my life like I'm just waking up. I always want to be amazed, even by the little things. I see the good in people because everyone has different feelings, different viewpoints, different ways of living. I love sharing those viewpoints and cultures and don't see the point in making judgements because they're different. Life is too short to always be angry.

Interests

I love music. If I could, I would have a soundtrack to my life just because I want a life full of music. My biggest passion is live music. I love watching people create music and do what they love. I enjoy art and creating things. My favorite art mediums are charcoal and plaster. I love film and theater, and have been involved in theater for many years. And I can't imagine a life without animals in it. Traveling is a huge interest of mine and I want to do as much as I can while I have the time, energy, and funds! Never grew up with video games, so books and reading are the way I relax. I love hanging with my friends because they make me the person I want to be.

Music: Civil Twilight, The Decemberists, Florence + The Machine, Band of Horses, Alison Krauss and Union Station, Mumford and Sons
I like pretty much any type of music, as long as it's good. I especially like folk and bluegrass music.

Books: Jurassic Park, The Once and Future King, A Swiftly Tilting Planet, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy

Movies: Any movie. No matter what movie it is, whether it's terrible or awesome, I love it. If there's something on, I'm entertained. That's about all I need. Favorite movie of all time? The Lion King.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've done in my lifetime is be born. I get to experience this life and meet different people. That's pretty awesome.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn as many different languages as possible. My favorite skills are the ones learned while building houses. I would love to teach people who want to learn how to use tools and build things.
