About Me
Hello there fellow traveller! Welcome to my profile!
The reason I've come to couchsurfing is to meet people who would be willing to share their culture and lifestyles with me, so I can truly grasp a clear understanding of the world we live in and the people around me.
Other things I've done include my Duke of Edinburgh awards (Silver and Gold), musical performances (I played the trumpet) such as West Side Story, I've dabbled in the acting side of things by being in productions such as Beauty and the Beast and Hairspray, I built my own computer, I volunteered at my local bird watching centre (I promise it isn't as boring as it sounds. Rutland water, have a look!), I game on occasion, I used to be the lead dancer of a local boys dance group (being part of the Rutland Youth Dance Academy and performing in Spotlight shows), and I definitely love my food!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to make some new friends and create connections around the world. By staying with hosts, this will help me have an insight into different cultures.
Once I get my own place, I would love to host other surfers to return the favour and keep this wonderful site a happy and safe place.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music 🎶
I am a lover of a huge range of genres. This ranges from The Beatles, to Hip-hop, to jazz. I am currently teaching myself how to play the Ukulele, and after years of refusing to sing, I've finally decided to tackle this. I have huge respect for all styles of music, as I studied music at college so I understand how unique each piece of music is. I've been part of orchestras and jazz bands so I'm a fan of band/orchestral arrangements.
Books 📖
In all honesty, I don't read much at all, but I have lots of experience reading. I read a lot during school (as it was expected), but apart from that, not much else!
Movies 🎬
I love a good film. As I have studied film scores during college, I am always on the look out for great film scores and that can be the reason for why I either hate or love a film!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
During the summer of 2019, I backpacked through France and Italy with 2 friends, hitchhiking and couchsurfing our way around. It was stressful and exhausting, but it was the most incredible thing I have ever done.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you would like to learn some English, I would be more than welcome to teach you. I would love to engage your language and culture, although I can't promise I'll learn fast!
I have some funny stories to share, especially about my previous travels.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A long term friendship, and hopefully when I've travelled for a long period of time, I'll have wonderful gifts and stories to share :)
