About Me
Hi, my name's Rhys and I'm spending a year in Wilmington, NC, as part of my studies at my home university in the uk. I consider myself to be a very easygoing and laid back kind of guy, I like to have fun and I don't treat life too seriously. Having said that I'm very respectful of others and incredibly excited at the prospect of exploring different cultures.
"Sometimes I feel I actually am the person
Who did this, who wrote that, including that poem The Circus"
'The Circus', Kenneth Koch
"The most wonderful things in life are open roads and open people"
Kasper Mule,1964
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I first heard about CS I was a little skeptical but I was soon bowled over by it. I've been really impressed with the way it has become such a phenomenon but retained the ideals of community and good will. I feel staying with a local is the best way to really get intimated with a culture and when I return home I look forward to hosting some couchsurfers of my own
