Originally from New Zealand, I've been living in Prague now for about a year and half and it's a great city to hang out in. As you can see I've traveled to (what I think is) a fairly long list of countries but there are still so many more to experience and of course I've only scratched the surface of most of the ones I've visited anyway.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a traveler, I like the freedom of solo travel but it's predominately been from hostel to hostel and I feel by not couchsurfing up until now I'm missing out on a slightly more authentic experience, so I'm excited to give it a try!

In terms of hosting, I'm happy to help people experience Prague and hopefully make some new friends along the way.

Interests

Live music, sports, comedy (especially US political satire - its a golden age for this), food (pretty much all of it!), scuba diving, trying to learn how to ski.

I love bluesy rock 'n roll, soul, funk, some house or even techno if I'm in the mood.

Sadly I read more articles from various news feeds (damn you Vice!) than I do books these days but I love classics like 1984 and Catch-22.

Movies? Yeah I watch those and I know I've seen some good ones. The Lobster was great if you like surreal black comedy. Give it a shot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've tried a few adventure sports but the one that I can say I loved every minute of was hang-gliding off a mountain in Rio de Janeiro.

I'm learning Spanish at the moment so any assistance on this would be much appreciated. I have a few stories to share but no fantastic abilities (oh I can wiggle my ears but I'm not sure if it's really something that's teachable!)
