CURRENT MISSION:After spending a year in New Zealand and two years in Canada travelling with our music, my partner Maddy and I are living and playing in Somerset, England. As we have a couple shows in the Netherlands, We’re looking to meet and stay with some knowledgeable folks while we’re there.
ABOUT ME I am one part of a musical travelling two-piece. We are looking to back to a life on the road. We spent the better part of two years travelling from Southern Ontario, to Cape Breton Island, and onward to Vancouver Island - fueled and funded entirely with our music and the great people we met along the way. I got into music at a young age and love meeting other musicians with different styles. Whether you've been playing for a day or a lifetime there are always things you can learn and teach. I like hands-on work and I enjoy learning about out-of-the-box living ideas like the Tiny house movement and van conversions. I always try to be very open minded and respectful whether I agree with your opinion or not. That's me in a nutshell :) PHILOSOPHY Follow Your Ears.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I did a bit of couch surfing on the west coast of Canada as well as around New Zealand and had some great times with some fantastic people.

Interests

I've been a musician all my life, playing drums since a young age and guitar since high school. I have a love for strange instruments like the spoons, washboard, and button accordion, and banjo. I love listening to people talk who know what they are talking about no matter what it is. I like turtles (especially those with a heavy background in ninjitsu)

I enjoy exchanging past travel experiences and teaching/learning new tips and techniques. I'm really interested in the tiny house movement as well as strange houses and vehicle-to-RV conversions.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Living on and off at a wildlife sanctuary I've spent a fair amount of time with animals so it's lead to some fun and wacky stories. I would always also be down to play music for/with you. I also like group cooking (vegetarian) let's share a meal!
