About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Beat it :D

ABOUT ME

"Que toca bien" is about the best thing I ever heard people say about me, that was at Cala Benirras on Ibiza pronounced by some hippies who where hitting the drums at sunset, when I tried for the first time to join in.
Or "he's a smooth driver" - I like that :)
For the rest I'm rather unspectacular.

PHILOSOPHY

Vive la trance!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

let's see... I can't really host, maybe some day, it's pretty crowded here often with family and friends already... but I entertained some travellers at my sisters place in Amsterdam sometimes - well and them me :D
And I think I'd like to try surfing, I think it's a very good idea all together!

Interests

drummin on anything that makes sounds, to all sorts of music - really quite diverse
I can sorta fall into a trance with music, than it becomes like something real, sound comes alive, like a creature that I can touch, and that can touch me - very deeply... :D

Music, Movies, and Books

Monty Phyton of course, and anything that makes me laugh or wonder
Music next to everything, Reggae always makes me feel good, like techno when driving, african punk for dancing...
And don't like books too much cause I got bombarded with heavy ones when I was still young and vulnerable :-(

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Started hitchhiking with my sis to visit her hippie friends when I was 6, that showed me that there's more to the world than they told me in school :)
Went on safaris in Kenya - just amazing!
Drumming through the night with locals in a bush bar near Mombasa, drinking some homebrew - they told me was made of snake-blood - all night through...! or was it 2 nights? or 3 days...?

Teach, Learn, Share

I can make you dance!

Me learn? Gotta learn to grow up I keep hearing, can u teach me how to respond to this sort of rubbish?

What I Can Share with Hosts

Make my day :)
