About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am currently travelling, living in my converted horsebox camper van, so am unable to host.

ABOUT ME

I've hosted a fair bit in the past, when I had a flat. A 'blow in', i now live in Northern Ireland in a mahogany horsebox converted into a camper van. I moved here to be with my family after diffficulties. I plan on spending the colder months each year abroad.

I don't have spare rooms but we have a lot of green space for those who like camping! :)

I enjoy food/cooking, writing, reading, dancing, practising Spanish and learning the trumpet. I love to grow food and enjoy walking my two lovely dogs

PHILOSOPHY
Live simply, Love unconditionally, play every day

Fortune favours the bold

Music, Movies, and Books

I believe for those who put out positive energy, positive things happen. I try to be the best person I can be, nurturing kindness and patience. I also believe laughter is the best medicine. And I like to party sometimes.

Literature:
Chimamanda ngozi adichi
Norman macCaig

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Done: swam for England as a teenager, won poetry awards.
Seen: where to start? I prefer the often underrated poignant moments of the everyday (you know,a man carrying a single bed on his head through paddy fields, an old couple holding hands, a man selling a bunch of black bananas on a train). That's the poet in me perhaps. I am no skydiver.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a pretentious-free zone.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm not that well-travelled (I move slowly in a big truck!) but I can share my language! Being a writer I have good grammar. I live an unconventional and simple off-grid existence. I can always find common ground.

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Germany, Greece, India, Ireland, Italy, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Spain
