About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Staying idealistic.
ABOUT ME
I was born and brought up just outside of Chicago, but spent the better part of 8 years living elsewhere (for uni, and for Peace Corps in Senegal). Now I'm back here in medical school. It is definitely time-consuming, but I jump at the opportunity to meet interesting and globally minded people. When I am in the same place for too long, I start to get itchy feet. I was able to satisfy my wanderlust the past summer, but don't figure to travel until next April at the very earliest.
My time here, and more recently the countless hours I have spent cycling throughout the city, have given me a pretty good understanding of how to get around Chicago, as well as some of the more interesting things to check out. Time-permitting, I am up for showing people around the city. It is one of the best in the world, and the only way I would love it more is if I was seeing it from the eyes of an outsider.
My friends would probably say that I'm really mellow and that I can connect with anybody.
PHILOSOPHY
The reward at the end of the journey is the experience of having made the journey in the first place.
