Hello beautiful people!

My name's Eleftheria (it means freedom in Greek) but Ria it's easier (especially for English people to pronounce 🤷🏻‍♀️) so it's been established long time now as my short name. I'm in couch surfing for similar reasons as all of us here: massive love for travelling the world and meeting new people and cultures!!

Few about me: I'm a creative enthusiast and a helpless romantic soul! I love spending time listening to people's life stories (or dramas) & when I have time and mental energy running my own dance and creative movement workshops. On a daily basis I love cooking and watching interesting programmes/movies, reading books, going on a nice long walk in my town, grab a coffee, sit in the sunshine, write poetry or just random thoughts!

As a guest, I am very respectful of people's privacy, space and schedule. I'm quite independent when visiting a new place so hosting me won't mean you have to be my tour guide but I'd love to hang out with you and get to know your city as only a local does!

As a host, I will try to provide a warm and cosy place for you to stay during your visit and I can also be a great tour guide given my free time if you need advice on your journey to Bristol or Athens.

My passions are: I am an absolute addict for travel (love any kind of journey - train, flying, hiking, roadtrip and all the styles from the relaxing one, drinking mojitos on the beach to the most adventurous discoveries, activities etc.). My life's love affair is dance and I've been dancing since I was four years old. I find myself and a unique energy and power in dancing. Of course music comes with it! I believe that there are major benefits in dance, music and art. What else do I like? Adventures, long interesting conversations, breathtaking sceneries, sunsets, the sound of the sea... Also, I'm a foodie and a wine & coffee addict! ☕

I love meeting new people and visiting new places - ticking them off my TRAVEL BUCKET LIST, sharing experiences, exploring new cultures and seeing a place through the eyes of the locals (learn all the secret gems).

I like sharing stories and experiences. Open in abstract discussion around psychology, philosophy, spirituality.
