Born in South Africa, then moved to Namibia when I was 2 years old. After finishing my Engineering degree at Stellenbosch University, I decided to stay in South Africa with the goal of finding innovative solutions to improve the lives of others. I've always had a passion for travel and exploring the unknown. Anything that gets the heart beating a little faster is where I thrive.

I've traveled to Europe for little over a month and stayed with Couchsurfing hosts through most of it. I really enjoyed the experience and would love to give back by hosting other interesting travelers.

-Bungee jumped from a 216 meter bridge.

-Whitewater rafting below Victoria falls, Zimbabwe.

-Went backpacking through Germany with cheap bicycles. Sold the bikes, and traveled to four other countries by hitchhiking.

-Sneaked into the second biggest festival in Belgium.

I'm a techie, so I like most things electronic. I can cook slightly above average food. I speak English, Afrikaans and a little bit of German. Would love to learn more.
