Hey friends, I’m Jared.

Currently living in Germany after spending most of my life living in many states throughout the U.S.
I love to be outdoors doing: Hiking, running, Bouldering, biking, swimming, Via ferrata’s, etc.
I’m working as a photographer, videographer and writer 📸🗞️

I always look forward to meeting and becoming friends with the amazing people on Couchsurfing. They have been the most Inspiring, Kind, Adventurous and Optimistic people I’ve met.

PHILOSOPHY

~ Better to have a short life, full of what you like doing… Than a long life spent in a miserable way.

~ That happiness you felt.. Don’t ever forget it!

~ We suffer more in imagination than in reality..

~ We are something that the whole universe is doing in the same way that a wave is something that the whole ocean is doing 🌊

• I ran non-stop across an entire country 🇱🇮🏃‍♂️💨

• I went 3 days without any food or water 🏜️

•I dove into a waterfall in Switzerland in the middle of October 🥶 I almost didn’t make it out of there

•I Climbed up toward Mount Pilatus in Switzerland with someone I met at an Air BnB and we witnessed the most epic sunset I’ve ever seen (Check profile pictures) with a sea of clouds beneath us. afterwards, 2 curious Ibex walked really close to us.

•I was hosted by a Ski-Instructor in Grindelwald who convinced me to go to the slopes with him 🎿🛤️ He spent the day teaching me to ski and even helped me to do the hockey stop and parallel skiing in one day 💪🏻⛷️ ⛷️

•I Climbed the Great DAUBENHORN in Switzerland! It’s the longest Via Ferrata (Klettersteig) in Switzerland and it was my second time doing a via ferrata 💪🏼😅

•My host Jakob and I carried 40kg of gym equipment to the top of a Mountain 🏋🏻🏋🏼‍♀️ “Too Easy!”

•While staying at a hostel in Lauterbrunnen (one of the most Magical places), I got a whole group of people to join me in renting E-Bikes and we rode them all the way up to Wengen ⛰️ 🚴‍♀️ 🚴🏻 🚴‍♂️🚴🏽
