About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learn about myself and learn about the world
ABOUT ME
Hey! I am a Canadian student, currently on exchange at the University of Amsterdam. I am annoyingly passionate about travel and strongly believe that all young people (and the not so young!) should experience the world and embrace new cultures, languages and people. I've currently been to 6/7 continents and almost 30 countries!
When I'm not travelling I'm busy completing my university degree, writing, watching bad TV, hanging out with friends, catching up on celebrity gossip, reading and working a few part time jobs.
There's probably more to me than that - so feel free to drop me a message or ask me in person when we meet at your (or my) couch!
PHILOSOPHY
I'm still working on that one!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
As a surfer, I promise to be a wonderful house guest and repay your hospitality with a meal, drink and/or tour around my city when you come by! Our current couch in Amsterdam might be available so feel free to drop a message if you're looking to surf!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My mother and I hosted two girls from Germany at our home in Toronto. I helped show them around the city. My mom has been with CouchSurfing for years. She has attended CS events and was featured in one of their promo videos. I also met other CS friends of hers and attended their wedding in Toronto.
Looking forward to my first surf & gaining more CS experience!

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: A Walk to Remember, Love Actually, The Dark Knight, Remember the Titans, Slumdog Millionaire, Pretty Woman, Bridget Jones' Diary
Music: A little bit of everything! From rap to gospel and all the top 40, country & folk in between!
Books: Harry Potter series, Tuesdays with Morrie, Jane Austen, Me Myself & Lord Byron, and whatever I pick up at a second hand store for travel reading!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been blessed to see quite a few amazing sights including fireworks over the Sydney Opera House, the royal family in London, the Northern Lights in the Canadian woods and a traditional bull-slaughtering in Swaziland!
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I don't have a ton to teach from my 21 years yet. I have been to a number of amazing cities and am a fairly decent writer so I could probably offer some advice on those fronts.
Learn: I am a sponge - teach me everything! I'm really keen to learn sign language and some cooking skills.
Share: I love finding out about local spots and cool music while sharing some of my own.
