I am an Australian backpacking in SE Asia for a bit. Back home I was working in a pathology lab but have now quit my job to travel and then go back to study next year! I have never been to Asia before so am super excited to meet locals and other travellers and really get to know the local cultures. (even though I am missing my kangaroo Skippy!)

My favourite thing about travelling has been the amazing people I have been able to meet from all over the world! During my exchange year I was able to use couchsurfing while travelling and had the most unique and incredible experiences. While living in Oslo I also used the app to host travellers and I loved the connections I was able to make. Now that I am in Asia I want to again fully immerse myself in each country's culture that I travel to and meet super cool people! I am excited to continue to meet adventurous, funny and like-minded people from many different countries.

I love to explore and feel most at home when I am surrounded by nature. At my home in Australia the beach is less than 5 minutes and I have practically grown up there. I love outdoorsy stuff in general though and am always in search of a new mountain or waterfall to explore. Another one of my passions is music. I think most of my money goes towards travelling or music... (oppps it's an addiction I swear) I also love bouldering, ultimate frisbee, a good pun, and live a vegan lifestyle.

I feel like it's too hard to put my love of music into a few words. But some of my favourite musicians are Milky Chance, Safia, Chvrches, Boo Seeka, Of Monsters and Men and Client Liaison. I am also a huge fan of musicals.

Reading is another one of my favourite past times. My favourite book is the Reluctant Fundamentalist. But I also love the A Thousand Splendid Suns, I am Pilgrim, To Kill a Mockingbird and of course the Harry Potter series.

I like most movies and especially like documentaries. I like movies that have a massive twist or evoke emotions. A few of my favourites are Into the Wild, Stand by Me, the Freedom Writers and Sixth Sense.

Hiking and paragliding in the Swiss alps was incredible
Seeing the Northern lights and visiting many beautiful fjords in the North of Norway was amazing too (I am sorry I could not just chose one)
