About Me
Hello! I'm Ricardo, your friendly mexican companion.
I'm a simple wonderer, with no major baggage. I love to explore, to be intrepid and spontaneous, to find adventures, meet people and above all to enjoy the little things.
I have a family I love and amazing friends I cherish. I wish to enjoy life to the maximum and -this may sound corny, but- to leave this world in a better shape than I found it.
I somehow identify myself with this phrase: "We don't stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
First reason is to meet people, which is always somehow enriching. You never know the surprises that may appear.
Second reason is to get to know a place and its culture through the life of a local, which is the best way of traveling.
Interests
I've been rock climbing since I was 15, so it's simply something that's a part of me.
Having surfed the famous "eisbach" riverwave in Munich, Germany for several years now, I've become devoted to surfing.
Even though I'm not particulary good, I'm passionate in playing piano and guitar. Piano I've learned since I was 8, which I picked up from my dad.
If there is something I think everyone would enjoy, is dancing, especially Salsa. I know I definitely enjoy it!
Parties, bbqs, concerts, festivals, gokarts, boardgames, movies... they're all super fun. But I also enjoy to philosophize and discuss those deep inspirational conversations; I'm sure you know which.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music taste is so varied! From classical music like Liszt and Vivaldi; to classic rock like ACDC and Aerosmith; classic pop like Michael Jackson (of course) and latin music of course. But if I had to say one favorite group artist it would be Plastiko (they're mexican)
My all-time favorite book is The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. Other books I enjoyed HP(1-7), Eragon, Mayan Testament...
Movies (to name some): Fight Club, Bourne Triology, Lord of the Rings, Equilibrium, Breakfast Club, Matando Cabos, ...
Series: Pinguins of Madagascar, How I met your mother, Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half men, Supernatural, 24, prison break, Dr. House, Stranger Things (side note: I get addicted to series too easily)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Deep-water soloing in Kalymnos.

I would love to share music, beer and stories!
Im down for teaching how to cook mexican food (beginning with a delicious salsa), or dancing salsa or bachata or cumbia, some games, jokes, etc.
