About Me

I can say about myself that I am a very openminded, easy-to-deal, not-annoying-at-all, autonomous person. And well, now I'm just in the middle of a big journey. In brief, I have been leading an NGO that I founded myself in Barcelona, since 2005. Now, I left my job and my house, and I'm just developing an ethnographic research with indigenous communities of the American continent, comparing several aspects of their diverse cultures, with regards to knowledge they keep in their old oral traditions, and to their ancestral uses of plant medicines. I have the support of the University Rovira i Virgili (Spain) for that, but they don't pay anything, so I'm investing my own limited ressources in this project. But it's worth, because I'm following my bliss.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a very open and sociable person. I am friend of my friends, and respectful with anything. I am keen to know the people of the places where I travel, and I am eager to also open my house to strangers. I believe that we, the people of the world, are one, and I think that Couchsurfing might be a nice way to make this belief happen more easily.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am kind of a melomaniac, so I like all kind of music. I move from classical music, to electronic music, to hard rock and hardcore, to ethnic music. For me music is like food, there is always something new to discover and to be open to. I like to watch independent films, or old strange films. And as for reading... well, I'm very interested in essays and researches of all kind. I also like sociological readings and stuff like that. And yes, sometimes, I have to admit... I can also get along with a bestseller-like book, just for the nice feeling of devouring papers :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been in the middle of the Amazon rainforest sharing all kind of ritual ceremonies and all kind of lovely and beautiful energies with the Huni Kuin people, and there I have finally understood that I had to leave everything for a while, and follow my bliss.
:)

Teach, Learn, Share

I hold some genuine knowledge on expanded states of consciousness, and on different cultures and human communities working with that.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I make the best tortilla de patatas of the world... :)
