Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had my first Couchsurfing experiences some years ago when I was traveling through France and Spain. I have been there before but this was so different that time. I enjoyed the time with locals more than if I had been in hostels. I made expierences I don't want to miss. People let me be part of their lives for two or three days and showed me how different lifestyles can be. Every single one was an inspiration.

But to answer the question properly..
WHY I am here or how I got here:
I always search for communities where people try to do something for a "better world". I think it is amazing how this concept here works without (directly spent) money. Just by taking, giving and sharing.

Interests

Besides traveling I love all kinds of art like singing, playing the piano (learning guitar), painting, juggling, photography, dancing and acting. In my free time you find me in theaters and choir rehearsals.

I once hiked from the Bolivian Andes down into the jungle - it was amazing how nature changed completely every day.

I cycled along the Danube from Passau in Germany to the Black Sea.
