About Me

Hello!
I am a 25yo adventurous individual with a desire to grow and learn about the world of culinary and culture. I am exploring the regional culinary cultures within the US and soon to explore the rest of the world. I focus on self-sustainable farm-sourced food and ethical treatment of animals. I believe we can feed the world efficiently, and my goal is to provide to my community with the practice taught by the skills of local peoples.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In reference to fellow travellers, I've been advise that couch surfing is a great to meet people and experience local life more closely. I think it would benifit my project a lot, this way I can closely see and learn how different people prepare their native food.

Interests

I'm big into biking and bikes. I like to repair bikes and into bike mechanics. There is a lot of outdoors activity i like to do, like trekking camping and running.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've built a bike. It's a Surly Longhaul Trucker fully customized to handle long distance traveling. I've also built a bike for an organization, Bikes Across Borders (aka BxB), and we bike from Austin, TX to the border cities of Mexico to donate the bikes we've built. I'm starting a recipe book of my own culinary experience throughout the world to learn and teach about better eating and healthier eating habits.

Teach, Learn, Share
