Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Hi travelers!!

I had for many years a cultural house in Lima Perú, called La Casona de Rick. where I used to host travelers from all over the world. I had a lot of great experiences and the opportunity to show them, Lima, my home town. A couple years ago, in 2024 I moved with my wife and two little girls to Oxapampa, this is just in the middle of Perú, part of the center rainforest of my country. We are living and working here and we have finally a little house and land from our own. And we are planning to create also a cultural place for artist an travelers.

I´m consider myself an active member of CS community. I love to meet and help people from all over the world. Thats why, my family and I are building here in Oxapampa a place specially designed for traveleres and artist.

My project is called "Ranchito Pakatota" and it will be a sort of mix between a Cultural Center and Clubhouse in the forest. We are working right now in the building of the infraestructure, but we already have a bed for travelers and visitors.

Everyone is welcome to Ranchito Pakatota.
We only have 3 simple but important rules:

1. Be always nice!
2. Please take care of the facilities
3. Don´t smoke in the house. (No exceptions please!)
