About Me

I'm a social psychologist. I've lived in Mexico (where I grew up), Chile, Barcelona and I'm currently living in New Zealand. I think I'm easy going, I think so, probably... but at the same time I am a very anxious person, paranoid and hypochondriac, but don't worry because people usually notice that about me after a few months of knowing me, so you'll be cool.
I like to walk a lot, have coffee in every and all places I possibly can, I read as often as I can, also I like to write and watch tons of movies and series.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't travel as much as I receive couchsurfers, but each time has been an excellent time and I have met a lot of great people.
I like to get to know new people and learn from them, also to have real experiences based on diversity of thoughts. I like couchsurfers that are willing to open themselves and also to go out by themselves if I'm not able to.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm listening to a lot of female vocalist, like Regina Spektor, Norah Jones, Joanna Newsom, Karen O from Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Also Modest Mouse is one of my favorite bands, Pearl Jam, My Morning Jacket.

Almost every gender of movies I like, from the silly humor like "This is the end" to Jean Luc Godard. The last movie I saw was The Hobbit, and prior to that Interstelar which blew my mind

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The extraordinary in my life is based in everyday life. When going to buy bread or making me a cup of coffee becomes the most wonderful experience, then I will be completely happy.

One time I was listening to music from a very old playlist and before the next song I shouted "number 258!" and then, as if it were an act of magic, the song number 258 appeared next. It was a wonderful thing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my favourite books, songs and movies. I can talk and talk about social psychology, philosophy and sociology, believe me its not as boring as it sounds.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a living room with a couch that becomes a bed. I can also share some of my time when I'm not working or studying. And good times!
