Hi nice to meet you, my name is Riccardo and I am a 25 years old Italian university student. Currently I've been studying electronic engineering but I have a deep passion for cultures and languages. Because of that I love meeting and helping new people from all over the world! I am a very curious and easygoing person so I am sure we could very easily get along!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I was in high school I lived in America for one year as an exchange student; that experience hit me deeply and since then I developed a deep passion for languages, cultures, and people! I found out about couchsurfing many years ago and I see it as a great opportunity to teach about my culture and to learn about other people's ones! I am very easy going so I am sure we can easily get along very well!

Interests

A few years ago I discovered rock climbing and mountaineering; since then I became a "natureholic"! Living in a city is very convenient but I always feel there is something missing, and to me that is trees, fresh air, the sound of rivers and beautiful sunrises on top of mountains! So as soon as I have a little bit of free time during week ends, I end up wandering around woods and climbing mountains.

Beside that, when I was a kid I used to practice Aikido, a japanese martial art and growing up, thanks to that passion I also got deeply into japanese culture and japanese language! My dream is to be living in Japan one day!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach other people English and Italian! If you are into food we could also cook some italian food and desserts! I would love to learn about new cultures or get to know more in depth those which I already know something about. And of course, because of that, I would love to learn how to cook dishes from many other countries!

I also want to learn how other people think and listen to their ideas, in order to shape our world better we need to listen to each other, talk, and share opinions in a friendly way! Many different minds, together, can really make a huge difference!
