About Me
Hello, I'm Riccardo! I live in the picturesque countryside of Tuscany, surrounded by woods and fields. I'm passionate about travelling, reading, expanding my knowledge, and meeting new people from all around the world. I look forward to sharing my little corner of paradise with fellow travelers!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet new people from all around the world, and learn about different cultures.
Interests
My interests include astrology, psychology, the human and social sciences in general. I love spending time in nature and enjoying life's simple pleasures, also practicing different sports. I value quality time with people I connect with, but I also appreciate solitude in nature to recharge and find balance.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a deep love for 80s music, especially funk, as well as dream pop and other romantic, evocative genres. I’m also passionate about reading and currently juggling several novels, including works by Dostoevsky, Goncharov, David Foster Wallace, Vittorio Alfieri, Roberto Bolaño, Herman Melville, Karl Ove Knausgård, Niviaq Korneliussen, and Mircea Cărtărescu, reading a bit from each depending on my mood.
In non-fiction, I’m drawn to psychology, sociology, and astrology. I also enjoy delving into books from the 17th to 19th centuries in both Italian and English, especially those covering esoteric or mysterious themes.
I also love cinema, particularly 80s French romantic films and introspective auteur that delve deeply into the human experience.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In the summer of 2020, I embarked on a solo adventure, driving over 11,000 kilometers across Europe. For a month, I explored 9 countries, immersing myself in the thrill of the unknown and the beauty of spontaneous travel.
Teach, Learn, Share
Some people have told me that I have a knack for noticing things about them that they hadn't even realized themselves. Maybe I missed my calling as a psychologist! I believe there's always something valuable to learn from everyone you meet and every experience you have. Even when things don't make sense at first, I've found that with time, everything tends to fall into place.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Warmth, laughter, relaxation, and the serenity of nature. I love hiking through the woods, enjoying pleasant company, and connecting with others on a deeper level.
