ABOUT ME

I'm from Rome, Italy. I was born and lived here since 1991, except for 2008/2009 when I've been an exchange student in Mississippi, USA.
After graduating from high school I enrolled in University to study Mathematics, which I really love and enjoy. At the moment I'm doing a PhD in Ljubljana, Slovenia since 2015.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first signed up on couchsurfing in the summer of 2013, in order to make local friends during my Interrail in Northern Europe (Interrail is a european train ticket that will take you anywhere for 22 days).
I attended a party in Oslo and I have been hosted in Turku, making my first couchsurfing experience amazing.
Unfortunately I never hosted through couchsurfing since I live in a dorm, but I've been hosting people I met in other circumstances and I'm therefore ready to host couchsurfers when I'll have a possibility.

Interests

Mathematics is by far my main interest, but I do enjoy playing music with my friends. If you are a musician I'd be glad to play with you!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been walking on glaciar Perito Moreno in Patagonia, Argentina.

21 days Interrail (train ticket that can take you anywhere in Europe) in Northern Europe (Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Netherlands, Germany). AMAZING!

Together with some friends I organized Science Bites, we would meet once every two weeks to give short talks about scientific topics in an informal environment.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can play some music together or, if you trust my cooking abilities, I can let you try a taste of Italy from your (new) favourite italian chef! :P
