About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Looking to travel when I can, and meet interesting people from around the world.

ABOUT ME

I grew up and have lived around Los Angeles my entire life, but I am half Cuban, half Brasilian. I have traveled around a bit, but have always enjoyed coming home. I can find my way around quite well and seem to do a good job of entertaining myself with what the city has to offer, whatever city that might be. I work from home running a freelance marketing company at the moment. I go out at night pretty often to have some fun because I live in Hollywood and most of the fun is just a short walk away. When I travel I tend to party a little less simply to focus on the travel itself, but when I do decide to go all out, it usually ends in a good story or two.

When I travel I try to travel as light as possible and to be quick and neat. I love meeting new people, but I am also very conscience of other peoples space and privacy and try to respect that. I love food, so if you stay here, or I visit you I would be more than happy to share a couple meals. I used to be a cook at one point in my life, so I know my way around a kitchen.

I am published as a writer, musician, and photographer, and tend to find myself diving into new interesting hobbies all the time to keep myself busy.

When I travel, I love to explore. I love museums, I love culture, but I also tend to hang out at a lot of locations that are targeted towards the locals. I want to use this site to meet people from around the world that I would have never had the privilege of meeting otherwise.

If you stay at my place, I will treat you with respect and give you your space, please do the same. If I stay at your place, I will be as polite as possible.

PHILOSOPHY

Do what makes you happy as long as it doesn't come at the expense of others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I signed up for the site after a friends suggestion when I told him about some of my impending trips. I have hosted a few people at my house, as well as I have couch surfed already through a number of locations in Europe.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed across the United States and Europe.

Interests

Museums, movies, music, clubs, drinking, exploring, talking. I also enjoy comedy and when I have written in the past, most of it has usually been of a comedic background.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am willing to watch or listen to almost anything at least once. Except for scary movies, they kind of creep me out. I used to travel as a dj around the country when I was 19. It opened my eyes to a lot of music from around the world. Especially considering my heritage.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been hit by lightening. That is actually why I never drink tequila anymore. It's an interesting story, hopefully one day I can tell you about it.
