I live 50 miles due south of Downtown Atlanta 5 Miles away from I-75 in a semi-rural setting. Currently I spend my free time taking care of my home, cars,and motorcycles while preparing for my next epic motorcycle adventure ride.

Some of my favorite places around Atlanta are Eclipse di sol, Vortex on Thursday nights in the spring summer fall (bike nights!), EAYC on Sundays at the Yacht Club for Brunswick stew and a Tall PBR, Cheap Mexican with a Dos xx almost anywhere... Anything at the Fox or Chastain is nice. I love day tripping or overnighting to the N.Georgia and western North Carolina mountains on one of my motorcycles, stopping at wineries, country stores, scenic overlooks,waterfalls and other points of interest...
I am a laid-back, resourceful guy, I love to take off on a whim when possible, . I enjoy watching CBS Sunday morning , then going out to brunch on one of my motorcycles or in my sporty car when the weather is acceptable. I have the perfect bikes for Sport-Touring! 2005 & 2009 Suzuki Dl650 V-Stroms with a Givi tail-case I bought for my epic Alaska M/C trip! I try to take 3-4 vacations a year ( preferably on one of my motorcycles), touring scenic mountain back roads and then staying overnight with a couch surfing host, a nice mountain retreat or motorcycle resort each night, I may go to the beach a couple times a year also..

PHILOSOPHY

"I've seen the look of "Just shoot me" on the face of the poor fellow stuck in his generic sedan, wife reading People magazine, kids in the back fighting over what movie to watch on the portable DVD plaver as I pass them and we make brief eye contact. I choose not to be that person."

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I rode my Motorcycle to Alaska and back from Atlanta July 1st> August 5th 2007, I was looking for couch space /tent space on the way and found 2 hosts in Alaska, Good Times! Since then I've hosted a couple from Germany who were touring the eastern USA by motorcycle Summer 2008, a fellow adventurer from Maryland moving to Miami on his motorcycle and another Motorcycle guy from the Memphis area.. I also met a beautiful young lady from Moscow in March 2010. Most recently I've hosted a couple (Teo&Lily) who've been traveling around the world by Motorcycle for 3 years! On my way back from Crater Lake Oregon in 2012 I CS'ed in Salt Lake City, Pagosa Springs Co. and also in Oklahoma City.
