ABOUT ME

I am an easy-going and positive person. I love traveling and reading. I majored in foreign language and literature. Joining the Cinema Club during school, I organized several film festivals in my university. I worked as a teacher and a curator in the art gallery before. Now I am doing my PhD research in Holland. The research is dealing with the metaphors of ghosts and specters in postcolonial literature. By the way, I love nature. I am an animal and baseball lover.

My friend recommended the project and I am interested in meeting people from different backgrounds, so that I participated in the project.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My family have a big house in Taiwan. We usually host friends and guests in our house.
I have had a few experiences of CS since I became a member. No doubt, they are all pleasant, interesting and unforgettable.
I hosted some friends from Taiwan and couchsurfers several times. I believe they all enjoyed my couch. :)

My favorite bands: Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay, Sodagreen, Travis, The Verve, Mogwai, Ef, Maybeshewill, My Little Airport, Ms. John Soda, Hush!, The Naked and the Famouse, On Volcano, 65daysofstatic, and so on.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to share my knowledge in Chinese culture, literature, especially postcolonial literature, and my travel experiences with my friends. I am also happy to cook Asian cuisine for my foreign friends/hosts/couch surfers, even though I am not a good cook. :P
I hope to learn different cultures and more knowledge about music, movies and life experience.
