Hey my name's Rich. I'm English. I'm 20 years old. I'm from Norwich (which you should visit).
I'll describe my life from about a year ago onwards because nothing interesting really happened before then.
I was 19; working in a Pub in my little town. One day, the opportunity came up to move to the North of Spain for a month in the Summer. So I, being generally unhappy with my bar job, jumped on the chance. I moved there a month later as an au pair.
That month came and went rapidly, but the town where I lived, the country, & the people I met, had all made such a long lasting impression on me that I didn't feel ready to leave. So by hook or by crook I decided to stay and ended up living there for the best year of my life. The town is Castro Urdiales, in Cantabria, and there I worked several jobs over the year as an au pair and a private English teacher, as well as a teaching assistant in a primary school.
I learnt the language; I met so many people and made so many close friends with whom I've had some unforgettable experiences. I took up surfing, swimming, hiking, and started climbing again after several years. Now having spent the past year here, I've caught the travel bug and want to start moving around again because nothing gives you more freedom than a fresh start.

More than anything in the world I love learning languages and people that speak them.
Football has always been a big part of my life since I was kid; playing in my local team and going with my dad to see Norwich City play.

Check out my profile photos. I've lived in Northern Spain, in Cantabria near the border to the Basque country. In my opinion the most gorgeous part of Europe. The mountains, the sea and the countryside are jaw dropping.
