Hi everyone. I'm new to this app but I'm excited to meet fellow travelers and use this Couchsurfing idea. I absolutely love the idea of sitting with new people over a bottle of wine or a game of chess and telling stories. Storytelling is a powerful thing that we sometimes take for granted. 7.5 Billion people, each unique.

I'm American born in Michigan. Grew up in southern MI and went to Tampa, FL for my Bachelors in Management. I've also lived in San Francisco for about 3 years. I enjoyed SF but its a very expensive city. Currently I live in Ontario, (its a work thing), possibly moving again soon. I enjoy traveling and don't like being pinned down. I'm a chill guy that can get along with anybody. I like to think that I'm a hippie but I'm a Technology nerd as well.

I've always thought that sharing is the true way to show care for someone. Another reason is to see the real places that I'm going. I've been fortunate to travel, but too often you see a tourist version. Interpersonal communication and strong relationships can't be faked. I was in Níce, France, hopelessly lost (I unfortunately have a bad sense of direction), and little old Grandma saw me, obviously lost and gave me directions. I want to find real connections with people all over the world.

I am a bit of space nerd. I'm excited for the James Webb telescope to launch and start giving us amazing new insights to the Universe. I like to study the science of astronomy especially the Chemistry, distances, developments, and updates with new technology in space. I also like robotics and how we can use them to improve human life situations.

I'm a big animal lover. Especially dogs. I had 2 English Bulldogs years ago, they've both passed and they were the best cuddlers. Very stubborn though. I think my next dog will be some type of shepherd. I'm ready for a new dog.

Being outdoors is important to me. On the road, hiking, running, skiing, swimming, as I like to call it; "purposefully getting lost."

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

This past spring/summer I volunteered in Detroit to help build a community garden. This garden is central Detroit and was flourishing with flowers, plants, medicine, and herbs. When driving by, seeing it growing quickly, I felt very proud.

I enjoy Volunteering, and believe that it is a responsiblity to your community. Plus, sharing time with other cool peole is always a blast.

I also enjoy Yoga & meditation. Although I'd be interested in doing it more.
