CURRENT MISSION
Teach online and travel!
ABOUT ME
I love tea, intelligent conversation, honesty, crosswords, culture, music, science, good food, politically incorrect jokes, books, whiskey, film, board games, browsing in charity shops, exploring (without a map), BBQ's, thinking, showering and spending time with friends.
I'm a geek, well thats not exactly true but I do have a handy knack for remembering all sorts of interesting bits and pieces. I play and lot of sport and spend as much time as possible outdoors with my friends, I'm forever organising trips away on cool adventures... possibly taking some friends to dive a wreck in Cornwall.
I'm confident, easy going, full of stories, funny, always thinking and love meeting cool people. I had a huge snowboarding accident a couple of years ago when I fell 20m down a crevasse and since then I try to make the most of every opportunity possible - Life's too short.
PHILOSOPHY
Give more than you take and life will look after itself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Meet people, introduce people and get involved wherever I can.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I started couch surfing in Rio in 2010 and have hosted and surfed all around the world.
Interests
I play a lot of sport, but competitively I only have the time to focus on cricket in the summer and squash in the winter. I'm a professional SCUBA divemaster which is the best job in the world. I love cooking and I'm pretty decent in the kitchen. I studied science and will always be interested in the conquest of knowledge. I've got a good memory for things that interest me and concepts that can be understood. I'm also good at finding the right place to be at the right time and staying cool in a crisis.
On a typical Friday night I am:
Away with fiends, home with a bottle of wine, in the pub, playing cards in a tent, reading a book, calling mates in the western hemisphere, plotting a surprise, baking bread or editing photos...
But the rest of the week is much more fun!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I nearly killed myself falling 20m down a crevasse whilst snowboarding in the Swiss alps. After travelling for well over a year in South America I have a load of stories but you´ll have to wait to hear them in person!
