CURRENT MISSION

I think Im writing a book but not quite sure what it will look like. Cant say Im well experienced in such matters. So for now just doing research on culture, history, peoples' habits, food, the odd beer, comedy, music, that sort of thing. Very interested in spending time with anyone brave enough to educate, humour or make fun of me.

ABOUT ME

Can generally be found following my nose around the world, which I find a particularly fascinating place. Reasonably well brought up, which probably translates to general politeness and respect for people and their property. Good sense of adventure and will turn up with both some sort of alcohol gift and a general fitting-in-ness attitude when surfing. Will put toilet seat down for ladies.

Have helped hitch-hikers out with a couch many times. Plus the bringing-booze thing for hosts I guess.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met some really lovely people. Not met anyone who isnt lovely. Not sure if Im just lucky or that is the state of things.

Interests

Staring and poking at stuff, history, music, other peoples' culture, the usual I guess and enjoy a laugh greatly altho (sadly) not very good at making others laugh. Apologies in advance.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably more retarded than amazing but got a photo of a bear up on his/her back feet eyeballing me from 20 yards whilst hitching in the Canadian wilderness. Its possible I had to change my pants afterwards.

Teach, Learn, Share

Want to learn most material about most subjects. Always keen to pass on whatever I have already learnt, when my memory serves me well enough and anyone is foolhardy enough to listen.
