My name is Richard. Friends call me Rico or Ricky. I live in Simpsonville, SC where I have lived off and on for 30 years. I am a free spirited Rider of the Winds. I'm basically just a laid back handyman that goes out of his way to stay in the shadows and mind his own business. At the same time, I love engaging in conversation and have no trouble connecting with individuals. Travel is written into my DNA and the open road along with exploration are what I know best. I love the barter system and have no problem working for room/board/gas. I love to camp though and would appreciate the gas more. Also, my dog, Red Dog, is my best friend and travel companion. She is an extremely well behaved dog and will be no trouble to anybody.

I am on Couchsurfer because I love to travel and I love meeting locals and fellow travelers.

I would say I am hosting, but I live at my brother's house and it's up to him in the end.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my handyman services for a variety of odd jobs and random tasks. More importantly, I can share what little wisdom I have acquired in my few years. Or if you're into music, I can share a few songs on my guitar. If somebody just needs somebody to talk to, I can share my ears. I will be collecting a ton of spring water from NC, so I will have good clean water to share. I'm willing to share just about anything I can. I don't have many material possessions, but I'm willing to share what little I have. I just can't share the money. That's gotta get me there.
